The Xtra – an entertainment machine
We were asked to create a consumer oriented promo for the new MiniLED range of Philips TV called ‘The Xtra’. A next-level, mind blowing, super epic entertainment machine. The goal of the video was to create a clear visual identity for The Xtra around the new logo, a visual treatment to make the product recognisable in the full Ambilight TV range.

We created a visual language around the X and used content to tell that story. With the music screaming ‘epic’, this new TV needed to feel like an action hero movie block buster entertainment machine. Philips TV’s flagship model OLED+ is branded as the premium and elegant TV model. The One is Philips’ their more accessible TV model, branded as bold & fun. This new TV The Xtra fits right in the middle and is branded as epic.
This productions was a great collaboration with the amazing 3D artist Roald van der Meer. Who helped create amazing CGI visuals to make it feel like this TV is a superhero from outer space.
